A scrappy game of turnover tennis in the first half needed yellow cards for attackers to get past the persistent poaching of the world class back rowers on show. Debutante Milner-Skudder was able to respond to the Wallabies’ opening two tries (Ashley-Cooper’s finish was world class) but not the third from Nic White. A deserved Rugby Championship crown might help Aussie sports fans forget losing the Ashes, but more importantly, we now know the 2015 All Blacks can be beaten.
