It’s not that Canada don’t have good players like Carpenter, Hiryama, Cudmore returning soon plus actual depth on the wing. And it’s not that they can’t play, working hard to make space out wide and often scoring when they do. Finally it’s not that they have serious issues in discipline, tackling and final-quarter focus...nah, actually here it was definitely all of those things. AJ McGinty played a steady controlling 10 and the Eagles will certainly need that in September.
