There were plenty of reasons for the All Blacks to want this one more, and despite early Wallaby dominance a superb pitch-long move finished strongly by Coles and assisted creatively by Carter put them ahead for good. I’m sure Cheika won’t mind sacrificing the Bledisloe Cup for his RWC2015 plans; I wonder if he feels the same about Cooper who’s high tackle on Aaron Smith virtually led to 21 unanswered points. A fitting Eden Park send off for several legends.
