Rugby mad renter gets the ultimate Rugby World Cup 2015 surprise thanks to HEINEKEN
A number of would-be accommodation hunters encountered an unexpected scenario recently as they attended a property ‘viewing’ in Dublin’s city centre. Visiting the property under the premise of potentially leasing a room in the plush apartment, the HEINEKEN stunt instead brought hunters face-to-face with Irish rugby legend Shane Horgan – and the Webb Ellis Cup.
Responding to a routine ad on Daft.ie for a new luxury apartment in the much-sought after Alto Vetro complex in Dublin’s city centre, things took a hilarious turn when Horgan and the Webb Ellis Cup entered the fray. Luckily, HEINEKEN was there to capture the whole thing…
Speaking about his experience, attendee Robert Finnegan from Ranelagh, Dublin, remarked; “It was definitely the most interesting viewing experience I’ve ever had. The property had already made a big impression on me and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked into the living room to see that the flatmate was Shaggy. He really had me fooled, but I think I did ok. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d get the chance to get up close with the Webb Ellis Cup, a rugby legend and a few chilled Heineken®. Hopefully, I’m not the last Irishman to get my hands on the trophy this year!”
