A slew of first half (many questionable) Connacht penalties together with another slew of basic defensive errors handed the home side an unassailable lead without even breaking a sweat. But then a slew of strong Connacht scrummaging together with another slew of quality try-finishing did a decent job of assailing though they were left tragically short at the end. So a first win for the reigning champions but five league points hardly the start they expected after two home games.
