NZL 26-16 ARG (8-0-review)

by Emma McGarry

1st half saw the ABs struggle against Argentinian momentum and defence. Unorganised and ill-disciplined, the ABs were awarded 2 yellow cards, removing McCaw and Smith from the game. NZL played 2 men down until HT with ARG leading 13 - 12. ABs 1st try came at 56 mins and they continued their attack against incredibly strong Argentinian defence. They didn’t ease up until the final whistle, scoring 2 more tries, but all credit goes to Argentina who fought tooth and nail.
