RSA 46-6 SAM (8-0-review)

by Ciarán Duffy

South Africa successfully bounced back. After an anxious opening period a JP Pietersen intercept try proved to be a game-changer and South Africa would push on. Samoa set a record for most brothers on the pitch at once, but were outperformed at the lineout and had very little territory. The Springboks wrapped up the bonus point when Brits got over. At the end: Pietersen would complete his hatrick, a fan got involved, and Habana took a step closer to Lomu.

Ciarán Duffy (@VoiceQuakeDuffy) is a Leinster supporter who would watch any game of rugby while undoubtedly taking it too seriously.  He enjoys over analysing and taking a pessimistic look at the bright side while talking about Irish, European, and World Rugby issues on and off the field.
